Black Lamp is an encrypted, source-protective intake channel. Documents, records, photographs, witness statements, observations. Material arrives sealed. We open it offline. We verify carefully. We do not name you to anyone, ever, without your explicit consent.
You're already protected
Our server strips your IP before any code reads the request. We don't log visits, run analytics, or load fonts that fingerprint you. You don't need to install anything. Just don't sign into accounts on the same browser, and strip metadata from photos before uploading.
Drop files or a message
You'll receive a session code — easy to write down, valid for 7 days. Write it down. It's how you check back later. We never know your name unless you tell us. We never see anything until we decrypt offline.
We verify carefully
Material is decrypted on a separate machine. We may publish, share with counsel of record, or hold. We may write back through your session. We will never expose your identity without your consent.
If it matters and it's true, bring it.
We accept documents, records, correspondence, photographs, video, audio files, witness statements, and patterns of observation. We accept anything that helps establish a record the public should have access to.
We do not host illegal material. We do not pay sources. We do not collect accounts, logins, or passwords. We do not cooperate with anyone we have not chosen.
Reading this site is not a record. We do not log visits. We do not load
analytics. We do not load fonts that fingerprint your browser. We use
Referrer-Policy: no-referrer so the page you came from is not
passed to us either.
A black lamp is a contradiction by design.
The vessel is dark; the flame is small; the room is meant to be quiet. What it offers is not brightness but discretion — enough light to read by, not so much that the reader can be seen.
Diogenes carried a lamp in daylight searching for an honest man. He never said whether he found one. He kept walking. The lamp is the work, not the conclusion.

Submissions are encrypted at rest. Decryption happens off-server, on a machine that has never been online. Once you submit, the channel is yours.
